WOW....Dr. Dre was the best in hip hop at one point in this hip hop game. I personally loved his music, whether he was rapping or if he was producing the track. His history thus far has been amazing. True Legend. The video is full of honesty, respect and love for each other, the history of Dr. Dre, the gratitude Eminem feels towards Dr. Dre.
If you are a fan of hip hop you will know the history already, but if you don't, get to it! Research and learn but the words on this record are real and true facts. If you don't know the history, you might not understand the ending...very poignant. What do you think? Did you love the video as I did?

Adele - Someone Like You (Live in Her Home)
I've been a fan of Adele since I heard the song, 'Hometown Glory', but what really caught on in the US was another good song, 'Chasing Pavements'. About a month ago, I posted her first single/video 'Rolling In the Deep'. However, I just heard 'Someone Like You' and was totally amazed. Love the lyrics, love the song.. and the video I'm posting below is pretty cool. She's got an amazing voice which definitely makes you stop and take recognition!

Queens of Dogtown - "Would" (Music Video)
I know you all know how much I love Showtime's Californication...but damn, this show is always SO good. Anyway, the character Hank Moody's (played by the insanely good David Duchovny) daughter Becca (played by they young but cool Madeleine Martin) joined a band called Queens of Dogtown and in the past few episodes they have played some cover songs - which are awesome. Also, the lead singer is is Zoe Kravitz, yes, thats right the daughter of the great awesome rock star Lenny Kravitz - great voice, just like her daddy. Well, the first video is Queens of Dogtown covering the great alternative rock band Alice in Chains, 'Would' and the second is one of my personal favorite 80s ballad, 'I Remember You' by Skid Row. Skid Row's video used to make me cry everytime and I mean everytime! So here you go... awesome covers!

One Day -- Movie Poster (2011)
The next big award show is the Oscar in less than two weeks away, which is being hosted by the great Anne Hathaway and the cool James Franco. They both have a great sense of humor and I really think this will be a great show, just like Hugh Jackman.. his intro was probably one my favs in the past few years.
Back to Anne, in 2011 she stars with Jim Sturgess in One Day, which i'm thinking will be an amazing romantic comedy. Not sure if it will be limited release or wide release, so below is the poster which was just released this week and I will keep you posted, but check out the movie details on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1563738/

2011 Grammys - My Favorite Performances!
The best band/album of 2010 for me personally Mumford & Sons -- it took them to perform on Sunday's Grammys for people to take notice.... i think they gave one of the best, if not the best performance from Sunday's show. They were joined by Avett Brothers who were awesome as well and the legendary great Bob Dylan, although was not his best performance. Still had to post...
The bad rep music genius John Mayer, the soulful Norah Jones and the awesome guitarist songwriter and music lover Keith Urban... honoring the great iconic Dolly Parton by singing her own 'Jolene'.
One of my favorite rappers Eminem ft Rihanna, the very missed Dr. Dre and the rising star Sklyar Grey singing 'I Love the Way You Lie' (Part II), and "I need a Doctor", new single from Dr. Dre's upcoming new album Detox.
One of my favorites from country music, miss soon to be Mrs, the cool Miranda Lambert, singing another favorite song from 2010, 'The House That Built Me'. Even after a year of this song... still get chills up and down my body and takes me directly to my childhood home and memories.... Ah, 'won't take more than a memory'.
The eccentric Cee-Lo and the awesome Gwyneth Paltrow singing 'Forget You'/'F*ck You'.
B.O.B., Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae did a wonderful medley, 'Nothing on You', 'Renegade' and 'Cold War'... different but cool and probably surprised some people.
The intro of the 2011 Grammy Awards started off with a tribute the legendary Aretha Franklin. Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Yoland Adams, Martina McBride and Florence and the Machine's Florence Welch all sang a few of Aretha's best. These ladies can sing and the entire performance was great and gave me chills... amazing, amazing voices.
What a year Lady Antebellum has had... well deserved, well deserved! They sang a cover, 'If You Don't Me', 'American Honey' and of course 'Need You Know'
And lastly, Arcade Fire winning album of the year for The Suburbs. They sang two songs on Sunday night, but the second song they performed is one of my favorites, 'Ready to Start'. So here you go...
I've only left out a few performances, that's how great they were... Rihanna Ft Drake fun performance and I'm actually going to see her over the summer for the Loud Tour which I'm so excited about! The great band Muse, also a great performance, Justin Bieber's performance ft Usher and Jaden Smith, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. They were all good performances but nothing got me as much as the ones I posted above.
