    The Trip Trailer 2011

I'm a fan of Steve Coogan - think he is HILARIOUS and this film looks like so much fun to watch. I know I was giggling already and this is just the trailer, imagine. I'm in for a good laugh!

    Columbiana First Official Trailer (2011)

This was one of the trailers for the 'Jumping the Broom' film and me and my friends all turned to each other and said, 'i'm in, i'm in' - perfect! Zoe Saldana is a cool bad ass actress. I liked her, but loved her in 'The Losers' and this looks pretty awesome!

Martha Marcy May Marlene Trailer 2011

What a haunting trailer... Starring Elizabeth Olsen (yes, younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), Hugh Dancy, Sarah Paulson and John Hawkes giving an eerie performance. What do you think? In or out?

    Nirvana Nevermind countdown...

Continuing my little obsession with Nirvana and leading to September for the 20th anniversary of the release of the classic, classic album Nevermind... I've posted some music. Of course, I posted another song from this album, called 'Lounge Act', which is one of the more upbeat songs off the album. The second video I've posted, is of course from another wonderfully classic album, MTV Unplugged. Several songs off that album gives me chills, even to this day, 'Jesus Don't Want Me for a Sunbeam' is one of them. Kurt's voice and the rest of the band, the sounds all coming together, just pure poetry.

    Biffy Clyro....new discovery!

Biffy Clyro is a a Scottish rock band that I just recently heard and fell in total love with one of their singles, 'Many of Horror'.  The first time I heard this song it was on the radio and they were going acoustic NY's RXP 101.9 radio station (www.rxp1019.com).  I've heard other songs since then and am still researching them and getting to know all about them, but couldn't delay in sharing this great song with you all!   They are going to open some shows for the Foo Fighters tour.  This single is actually from their last album which was released back in 2009 and was a huge hit in the UK. I highly recommend you sit back and listen to the music and the words.

The first video I posted is the official video for this song... and then I've gone ahead and posted an acoustic version (not the one I had heard, but pretty good). I've also posted a few acoustic version of other songs called, 'Mountain', 'God & Satan'

Beginning lyrics to 'Many of Horror' - the lyrics are really good and with his voice, just fits so good. love me some hurt rock n roll.

You say "I love you, boy"
    I know you lie
I trust you all the same
    I don't know why

'Cause when my back is turned
    My bruises shine
    Our broken fairytale
    So hard to hide

I still believe it's you and me 'til the end of time

When we collide we come together
If we don't we'll always be apart
    I'll take a bruise; I know you're worth it
When you hit me hit me hard

This following live version of a song called, 'Machines' is off an earlier album, 'Puzzle' (released in 2007).

    The Ledge Trailer HD 2011

Wow, Patrick Wilson your scaring me there! Liv Tyler, Terrence Howard and Charlie Hunnam.

NYC's MET Ball/Celebrating the new exhibitt, 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty'

Year after year, I await anxiously to see the gowns and tuxedos on the red carpet for Met's annual gala.  Off the top of my head, I believe last years favorites were Emma Watson (always gorgeous), Blake Lively, Emma Roberts, Kate Hudson and Diane Kruger.

This year's gala had a more bittersweet event.. they were honoring the work of the late Alexander McQueen.  A total iconic designer and for me his gowns were always so powerful, bold and just really stunning.  Salma Hayek, one of the co-chairs from last nights event wore Alexander McQueen and so did supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who was accompanied by football star husband Tom Brady, who looked very dashing.

Emma Roberts and Diane Kruger, both attended last year and both looked so gorgeous (again this year)!

A few of NY's celebrity fashion addicts and icons who all looked amazing....

Sarah Jessica Parker, the cool Liv Tyler, the NY actor-couple Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, and lastly Ashley Oslen.  Which I have to admit, I really love.. something about her dress is so enchanting and possibly homage to a certain time in history?
The following are some elegant dresses and a handsome young man....the young lovely Kristen Stewart, another young actor but from Hollywood royalty, Max Irons.   Renee Zellweger always so stunning (hate to keep using this word, but really stunning).
    .

Naomi Watts just so pretty, iconic supermodel Iman (just hello, c'mon she is up there in age and let me tell you - just gorgeous!  David Bowie is a lucky iconic musician) and Brooklyn Decker wearing a bold, bold pink dress.  I say bold twice, just because she is totally rocking the crap out of that dress in that color - not many can do that.

The following are some that took a bit of a chance, but something about their gowns, I like and thought it deserved a second glance!   A childhood favorite actress for me, Christina Ricci, another young actress from a Hollywood family, Rumor Willis, voluptuous Christina Hendricks (love the bronze theme) and Mia Wasikowska.  I've also included Mary-Kate Olsen just because I think her make up (not the dress-sorry) is perfectly done and Olsen twins are gorgeous girls and are fashion legends already for their young age.

And lastly, my favorite, FAVORITE and most attractive gown and this is the second time I have said this about this actress, flawless makeup.  Dianna Agron is wearing a wonderfully made dress by the very cool super designer Michael Kors.

I want to thank www.people.com and www.justjared.com for posting the pics as soon as they were available!  And I totally recommend going onto their sites to see ALL the pics of last night's gala... and let me know if you have a favorite, or if you think I overlooked someone.
