    The Fighter - Trailer

Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams star in this film. I remember seeing set pictures and how scary Bale looked - he had lost so much weight to play his character. What do you think of the trailer? Are you going to see this film?

Keri Russell: The Woman Next Door

I became a HUGE fan of two TV actresses in my teenage years... one being Claire Danes who played Angela Chase and two Keri Russell who played Felicity Porter. Keri is starring in a new tv show called Running Wilde with Will Arnett.

    Stone - film trailer...

Another one from the Toronto Film Festival... this film has Robert DeNiro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich.

    DayDream Nation - trailer...

    Another one (Toronto Festival)

Starring Kat Dennings and Josh Lucas. A fan of both these actors...

Another reason I enjoy indie films is the music. During this trailer, you hear Beach House’s single “Walk in the Park” and a cover of Buffalo Springfield’s Neil Young-penned song “Expecting to Fly” by Emily Haines.

    Hereafter - Trailer

One of the films that grabbed my attention from Toronto is...

A story of 3 people who are haunted by mortality in different ways. Directed by Clint Eastwood; starring Matt Damon, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jay Mohr, Cécile de France and Frankie/George McLaren.

And for those who are curious…the song playing during the trailer is 'Lullaby' by Sia - has one of the best voices! One of my personal favs from Sia. The song works really well with this trailer.

    Venice & Toronto Film Festivals....

I've been keeping track and both festivals and half of the movies I've already posted the film trailers such as Easy A, The Town, Conviction, Somewhere, Barney's Version and Trust. I've also seen some additional trailers and will be posting those that look very interesting but thought I'd post some shots of the cast I listed above.

I really do enjoy this time of year just because it's starts brand new.. new seasons all around! Enjoy these pics for now...

Somewhere; Starring Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning. Written & Directed by Sofia Coppola. This film is actually getting great hype and Sofia received the highest praise from Venice Festival.

The Town; Starring Ben Affleck, Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall, Jeremy Renner, Chris Cooper and Blake Lively. Co-written & Directed by Ben Affleck
    Receiving some nice reviews...

Conviction; Starring Sam Rockwell, Hilary Swank, Juliette Lewis, Melissa Leo and Minnie Driver. Directed by Tony Goldwyn

Barney's Version; Starring Paul Giamatti, Scott Speedman, Rosamund Pike, Rachelle Lefevre and Minnie Driver.

Kid Rock Featured On The Upcoming Coal Miners Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn Album

I actually discovered Loretta Lynn about 10 years ago when I caught the film, 'A Coal Miner's Daughter' on TV which Sissy Spacek nailed. Which opened the door to her music, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash and other country artists music. Anyone else curious to hear this tribute album?

    Collaborations...

I just wanted to say how i am really enjoying a band like MGMT collaborating with Kid Cudi and Hayley (from Paramore) and Rivers Cuomo (from Weezer) collaborating with B.o.B. It really just shows the world and music especially have intertwined. Just growing up things were so different... you were looked at different if you liked Nirvana but yet liked Jay-Z; and i'm talking about 10, 15 years back. Also, you should remember these younger pop, hip hop and rock artists have been influenced with the same music on the radio that I have and it has been building this intertwining party which i'm so happy to see.
I'm just really appreciative of the music industry becoming so welcoming of each other and majority of the people wanna do more and try and learn and rise above the BS and make some really great music! okay sorry...just wanted to say how i'm enjoying all this new music.

Kid Cudi - Pursuit of Happiness feat. MGMT

Something about this song.... heard it the first time today and just liked off the bat. Lovin' the Drake cameo... 2 guys with big dreams!
