Sara Bareilles 'Gonna Get Over You'

I LOVE this video, been wanting to post it for a while but couldn't find the actual video allowing me to post. But super friendly MTV allowed me to post it and share with you all! Really cute video and Sara Bareilles has a great voice and she is pretty unique in her sounds, which is pretty damn cool. What do you guys think, cute right?

Jessie J - Domino.. Live Montage Music video

Jessie J has an interesting voice and thought she would do good, especially having that first single with new favorite and did well on his own first album, B.O.B. featured on 'Price Tag'.   This song/video is so far my favorite - something about it.  I just think it shows differences in voice and how she has so much talent.  Hope you guys like...

    Shame -- film trailer...

I've read such great stuff about this movie that I am curious to see this film.  I heard that Michael Fassbender is nothing but perfect in this film.  Which, I've heard is a bit on the weird, twisted but dramatic kinda of film.  Carey Mulligan also stars in this film and Steve McQueen directed this little movie but getting a lot of talk especially since it's been hitting the film festivals (Venice, etc.).

Bon Iver - Holocene, music video

I've heard this song so much in the past two weeks and when I'm running around it always makes me stop cause it's so beautiful, but if I'm really paying attention it just makes me think of sorrow, of those who I miss.  I've also thought, it was beautiful for the reason that it makes me think we have one life and we are all flowing in the wind.  It's an enchanting song, but definitely emotional.    Thats the amazing thing about music - we can interpret however we feel, not necessarily what the artist was exactly feeling or trying to convey.   I'll leave you with the video and some of the lyrics...
'And at once I knew I was not magnificant
hulled far from the highway aisle
And I could see for miles, miles, miles'

The Avengers -- Film Trailer (Can't Wait)

I am a huge of the Marvel films (especially Iron Man & Thor) and am excited about this film for a few reasons, the actors, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Renner.    Who else is excited??

    Albert Nobbs - Movie Trailer

After watching this trailer, I must admit I'm a little intrigued.   Glenn Close stars in this independent film with Mia Wasikowska, Aaron Johnson and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.   'We have all been stuck in our own prison that we ultimately created'.... right?   What do you think of the trailer?

The Other F Word Official Theatrical Trailer (HD)

This documentary looks awesome and I love my punk rockers!

Florence + The Machine - Shake It Out

Florence Welch has one of the best voices out right now (besides Adele obviously - but women have strong phenomenal voices, they use it in very different styles)... Florence + the Machine had an amazing two years with 'Dog Days are Over' from the wonderful album, Lungs. Her powerful voice is something that completely stood out.. I think America started paying attention when she performed at the MTV's Movie Awards and just shocked everyone with that amazing, amazing voice.

So now comes the next album, Ceremonials, which will be released on November 1st. The video below is for the song, 'Shake It Out' and besides being a real cool song, the words really got me.

    Regrets collect like old friends

Here to relive your darkest moments
I can see no way, I can see no way
And all of the ghouls come out to play

And every demon wants his pound of flesh
But I like to keep some things to myself
I like to keep my issues strong
It's always darkest before the dawn

And I've been a fool and I've been blind
I can never leave the past behind
I can see no way, I can see no way
I'm always dragging that horse around

And our love is pastured such a mournful sound
Tonight I'm gonna bury that horse in the ground
So I like to keep my issues strong
But it's always darkest before the dawn

Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah

And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh woah

I am done with my graceless heart
So tonight I'm gonna cut it out and then restart
Cause I like to keep my issues strong
It's always darkest before the dawn

What do you think?  Strong song, right?  I know.. good stuff!
Also, check out, 'What the Water Gave Me' which is also on this upcoming album.

My Week With Marilyn (2011) Trailer HD - Marilyn Monroe Movie

You guys all know that I'm a fan of the great iconic Marilyn Monroe and I've been following updates on this film and from the pictures I saw - it looked like it would be good. Unfortunately, something is missing for me in this trailer. Maybe I'll be more intrigued after the second trailer... but maybe it's just me - what do you think?

Another Happy Day -- Red Band Trailer

Okay, I LOVE, LOVE family movies... and this looks crazy interesting. Great cast, you got great actors like Ellen Barkin, Demi Moore, Thomas Haden Church, Ezra Miller, Kate Bosworth and legendary Ellen Burstyn - families has always been complicated for me. So its fun to watch someone's else's family go through a holiday or a family weekend event, like a wedding. What do you think?

J.Cole, Cole World - The Sideline Story

So I finally sampled J. Cole's album, which was released last week and these are the few standouts for me.   Just in case, he is the master mind behind 'Who Dat' and he has a new single/video for 'Can't Get Enough' ft. Trey Songz.   The song I posted, 'Lost ones' is a powerful song - pay attention to the words - real strong.    Other songs I would check out is, 'Nobody's Perfect' featuring the powerhouse Missy Elliot and an actual bonus track called, 'Daddy's Little Girl', which again strong lyrics.  One thing I do appreciate is that J.Cole is very hands on with what he decided to release out and he is very in control with this music.  Check them out and let me know what you think?  If you bought the album, Cole World - The Sideline Story, what you think?
