Shia LaBeouf: Hollywood's Last Bad Boy Cover Stars: Details.com

This is the second cover that Details Magazine has put the great, young, super talented and cool Shia LaBeouf (that I recall anyway, I think I have the first cover saved somewhere in my library/office). I think he is a talented actor, but I also think that he just has this real normal attitude about life and enjoying all the possibilities. For a young guy, actor who has been in films and has had success - they could be interviewing a totally different guy. What I really like is that he doesn't sound like he has changed much from the first interview. Not in a bad way....but obviously, everyone changes as they get older and through life lessons, but his core seems to be the same. Very honest, up front and real, which I have to admire and I really enjoy his way of thinking. Check our the article and please check out the slideshow... I felt generous so I posted some pics already.

    R.I.P. Peter Falk

Another person who I remember watching as a child with my family has passed away this weekend.  Mr. Peter Falk... a.k.a. 'Columbo'  from the hit tv show 'Columbo'.   Such a great humorous show it was... such spunk Falk put into that character, always so fun to watch.   Another favorite of mine to watch with him was the awkwardly funny movie, 'Death by Murder'.   Remember running home from school and watching it on HBO.... it was such a funny movie and literally just looked it up on amazon and there it is... it's been added to my cart.   It's sad to see all these iconic individuals who have left such imprints on me pass away.  Obviously, the people I watched on tv and film, and these musicians I've listened to, some are much older than me and I'm well aware of the whole life nature and people grow old and eventually leave this world.  But it's not something I thought about as a fan...
I've decided to post some clips from the show and from the film... R.I.P. Peter Falk....your legacy lives on... thank you!!

    R.I.P. Clarence Clemons

I just had to post something...been meaning to since I heard the very sad news about losing the great legendary Clarence Clemons. I'm sad in many ways, one, that when I see Bruce Springsteen on tour... Clarence won't be there on the saxophone. Secondly, he was too young and thirdly, it feels as a bit of my childhood memory goes with him. So imagine as I get older, the rest of the E Street Band including Springsteen also get older. I have such fond memories as a little girl listening to Springsteen with my dad and my father pumping up the volume and they are such special moments and memories that are very dear to me. The LOVE I have for Rock'n'Roll comes from my dad... and Bruce Springsteen is a music god, lyrically and musically. For those whose who are fan of E Street Band knows how this will be such a sad cloud but I will remember Clarence forever and will remember the music and the fun he had on stage.... just a real great thing to watch! I called my dad today to make sure he had heard about Clarence and he said, "but he was young".

I decided to post a few videos I found online that show the amazing Clarence Clemons at his best... R.I.P. Clarence Clemons a.ka. BIG MAN. You have left such a legacy that will NOT be forgotten!!!!
    Rock on all, rock on.....

Country Strong -2 clips from Sony Pictures (thank you..)

Again, I'm sorry this is a bit late...but you can always rent the movie.  Here is a scene from the movie and Garrett Hedlund and Gwyneth Paltrow totally shine in this scene.  I've also posted a song he did with Leighton Meester, who also stars in the film - the words are awesome.   Go rent this movie ASAP...
I've liked Hedlund since Troy and Four Brothers, but after this movie...totally in love with this guy and I'm assuming more ladies would agree with me.

Avenged Sevenfold - "So Far Away" [HD]

If you like rock music, you have either heard of them or your a total fan of theirs. Either way, you would know that the original drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan died of an accidental drug overdose. The band dedicated their latest album, Nightmare to The Rev and for the third single, they decided to do a video in memory of him and the bands history as kids. It's a very endearing video showing friends and how they miss him still... saw this video a few months back, thought the video was sweet and touching, especially for a metal band, but after hearing the song a few times, the song, especially the chorus is super good! Reminder... cherish your friends and enjoy the good times...

A Day To Remember - All Signs Point to Lauderdale

Definitely a cool video and everyone has felt out of place at some point or another in their life!

Cage the Elephant - Around My Head...

This is the second video for their latest album, Happy Birthday, Thank you.   The song is pretty damn cool and then the video is oddly funny but in a weird gross way.   Art... what are you going to do.. so many different opinions, views, different inspirations, ideas for each person.  What do you think of the video/song?

Counting down to September... 20th Anniversary of Nirvana's Nevermind!

Continuing with my monthly reminder of the 20th anniversary of Nevermind.. for the summer month of June, I've decided to post two songs, 'Breed' and 'Territorial Pissings'.   Both songs have an aggressive but fun element to it compared to other songs on this album.   I've also decided to post Nirvana's first record, 'About A Girl', but the acoustic version off the Unplugged album (of course!).    Hope you guys enjoy and don't forget...few more months to go and bam, 20 years have gone by, but the love for Kurt Cobain and Nirvana still lives on.....

    2011 MTV Movie Awards...

As always, MTV awards, whether music or movie awards, are always awkward, at times funny and the winners are usually as predicted, except for one or two exceptions.   This year was no different, I enjoyed Jason Sudeikis as the host, thought he was funny and brought something to the show.  Maybe its because he is from SNL and he is pretty cool with other celebrities, he isn't paranoid about taking all in good intention funny shots at them.  The two music performances were good, Foo Fighters performed their new single, 'Walk' and Lupe Fiasco did two songs, opened with 'Out of My Head' ft Trey Songz and closed with 'The Show Goes On'.

As I guessed, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse won 5 awards out of 12 nominations... not too shabby.  Another certain aspect at any show, is the sincere awkwardness of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.   Love how these two young actors are good at their craft and are still growing and getting better, but are really, really awkward in front of an audience, whether presenting, accepting an award or giving a speech...I guess these two are not going to be doing a broadway or an off-broadway show.  Also, hello did you see the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1???  whoa... check out my twitter page, totally linked it for you guys.

Now, time for best dressed... Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, Andrew Garfield looking simple buy yet SO attractive (sorry, don't have a pic of Gosling).  And slightly older Peter Facinelli and Patrick Dempsey... how sweet do they look, especially Demspey - having a crush on a guy when your 8 watching Loverboy, I would have never thought I would still be attracted to him or that he would still be this good looking..just dreamy (really dreamy).

Now time for the ladies... Emma Watson is always, always one of my young fashionableness actress I look forward to seeing on any red carpets.  Reese Witherspoon, Kristen Stewart, Emma Stone, and Hailee Steinfeld.

The rest of the ladies rocked some cool and cute dresses, Amanda Bynes, Lily Collins, Aimee Teegarden and Selena Gomez.

These two couples looked pretty cool walking the red carpet hand in hand... do you recognize one MTV reality affliate?  and hello, Dave Grohl and his wife Jordan look pretty darn cool!

What was your MTV Movie Awards highlights???

thanks to www.justjared.com,  www.people.com and those who sent me pics on twitter....thanks for the pics!

    The Vow Trailer 2011 HD

I tweeted the link to watch this trailer over the weekend... but it's been SUPER busy (good busy though) and just wanted to post this trailer before I get to the MTV Awards and so here you go. Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum and Scott Speedman star in this film, where McAdams and Tatum are married and after an accident McAdams does not remember Tatum or the life they had up to the accident. So Tatum attempts to win back the love of his life... I'm assuming Speedman plays a new love interest or a friend who is being honest (i.e., reason for Tatum punching Speedman). Are you in?

    'Beginners' Trailer HD

The cast alone is awesome, but just seems like an interesting movie and points of views.

    Nicholas Hoult... X-Men: First Class!!!

I'll give you a little bit of a background... while I was watching and enjoy the movie, A Single Man and thought wow, I know this young blonde handsome guy... and then I finally realized, hey, is that? no, wow?  So I've course, I went onto to my trusty IMDB Iphone app and looked him up and yep, I was right.  He is the boy from the great, funny movie, About A Boy (one of my favorites of Hugh Grant).  How he has grown into such an adorable looking but very cool actor!

So of course, I was super excited when I had read that he was starring in the upcoming X-Men film.. LOVE, LOVE the X-Men films, just fun and good films and this new one looks like it will add to my enjoyment.  Did you see the cast?  Just great actors all around..really excited about this film.  Watch it this weekend - make it #1!!!!

Anyway, Black Book Magazine did a nice interview/article on Hoult... the link is below and as always, check out the slideshow... the pics above are two of my favs from the slideshow...enjoy and go watch the movie!!
