A bunch of great films presented at this years’ Cannes Film Festival. The cast in each film below is amazing. Can’t wait to see all these films and the performances.
Which one looks most interesting to you?
Cosmopolis – This film has a very cool cast, Robert Pattinson, Paul Giamatti, Jay Baruchel, Juliette Binoche, Kevin Durand and Samantha Morton. Directed by David Cronenberg (my fav by Cronenberg, Eastern Promises).
Killing Them Softly – excited about this cast… to be honest, I’m always happy to see Sam Shepard. Think he is one of the best!
With him, starts Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini and directed by Andrew Dominik.
Lawless**
Moonrise Kingdom – Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Harvey Keitel, Frances McDormand, Jason Schwartzman and Tilda Swinton, all star in this Wes Anderson directed film. The trailer looks like a fun film to watch.
Mud – Two of the guys I listed below star in this film… The great Sam Shepard and Matthew McConaughey star alongside Reese Witherspoon, Michael Shannon and Sarah Paulson. Directed by Jeff Nichols.
On the Road**
The Paperboy - another film with a great cast! John Cusack, Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Scott Glenn and Zac Efron. Directed by Lee Daniels. Nicole Kidman really wanted to work with him after she saw Precious. The film received a standing ovation at the Cannes screening… can’t wait to see this!
